Iowa Tests of Basic Skills

The Iowa Test of Basic Skills will be administrated during the week of March 23-26. Please make sure students get plenty of sleep, have a good breakfast, and are at school on time this week. Please also try to avoid any absences during this week.

Students will be expected to have a water bottle at their
desks. They will not be permitted, during a test to leave the room for any
reason, Bathroom breaks will be granted at the end of each testing period. Each
testing period is 25-30 minutes long.

Please make sure your student has 1-chapter book, or 3 non chapter books during this week. If students finish their test early, they may not walk around the classroom to pick a book. They will also not be able to draw, or work on other personal projects.

Snack: Thank you, Emily, for bringing snack on Friday, March 13^th. Tyler and Zack will bring snack on Friday, March 20^th.

Class Chapel: Our class led Chapel will be on Wednesday, March 18^th. Please assist your student with practicing their parts, and please have your students at school on time, if not a few minutes early. You are welcome to stay and support the students during our Chapel service at 8:35.

Yearbooks: Our Yearbook Club has been working hard on the yearbooks. You also get two pages to customize for free! The deadline to order is March 20^th. Use our school code 1013410721291604 at www.treering.com

Offering: Our chapel offering this quarter is going to support Immanuel Lutheran Missionaries around the world. Please watch the Panther Tales for more information.

Spring Break: Spring break is fast approaching. Spring Break will be March 30^th -April 3^rd, with school resuming on April 6^th.

Easter Break: Easter Break will be on Friday, April 10^th. We will not have school on this day. School will resume on Monday April 13^th.

Book Reports: Fourth quarter book report forms will go home today.  Book reports will be due on Thursday, May 7^th. Please read a chapter book of your choice for this report.

Talent Show: The Immanuel Lutheran School Talent Show has been postponed until Tuesday May 12^th.
