Student Council

The student council’s purpose is to promote student-teacher understanding, work for the betterment of students, develop student leadership and allow for student expression. The student council is also responsible for modeling Christian servant leadership, learning about citizenship and the promotion of school spirit.

Each year student council establishes a set of four or five goals based on student body input and the recommendations of student council. Usually at least two of those goals must be a servant event that helps others, promotes school spirit, and helps students learn what it means to be a good citizen. Student Council is also responsible for the organization and planning of afterschool clubs.
