The student council’s purpose is to promote student-teacher understanding, work for the betterment of students, develop student leadership and allow for student expression. The student council is also responsible for modeling Christian servant leadership, learning about citizenship and the promotion of school spirit.
Students in grades 5-8 are eligible to participate in student council. Elections are held early in the school year to choose up to 6 students. Council members are to set an example for the entire school. Council activities include planning pep rallies, organizing movie nights, and leading a chapel.
