Dear parents,
Happy Valentine’s Day! What a wonderful opportunity it is to daily share the greatest valentine ever with the students – God sending his own son Jesus to die on the cross and rise again so that we might have forgiveness of our sins and eternal life! The students sang beautifully at chapel last week and handled Life Education Week very well. They are also doing a great job with their Student-led Conferences! Thanks for taking the time to come in discuss your child’s progress. Here are a few notes before you head off to your three-day weekend.
Auction Basket!
Our class contribution for the auction will be a Coffee, Tea, and Chocolate basket! Please bring any donations to the classroom on Tuesday! If you would rather make a monetary contribution, that is perfectly OK. The students are working on decorating a beautiful one-of-a-kind serving tray that will be auctioned off with our basket. It’s going to be awesome! Thank you so much for your help and support.
It’s time for a luau!
The annual ILS auction is just around the corner! Mark your calendars for Friday, March 6, with the silent auction beginning at 5:00 pm and dinner at 6:30 pm with the live auction and dancing following. Please plan on joining us for a fun-filled, luau-themed evening. On-site child care is available! Tickets are on sale now in the office. Money raised will go towards the purchase of computers, tablets, and textbooks.
Registration
Don’t forget to register for next year before the end of the school year to receive $50 off your registration fees! Details in the office.
Remind
Don’t miss out on 6th Grade announcements and reminders! Even if you are already signed up for the school Remind account, you will want to sign up for our classroom group. Just text @ils6t to 81010. It’s that easy!
