Why did you decide to become a teacher?
When I was a student I struggled in school, I remember my mother asking if I could get a tutor, the teacher looked at my mother and responded, “She’s not failing yet.” I’ve always wanted to be a teacher, but after that incident, I wanted to teach, to tell children they are valued, loved, and to help them succeed.

What do you love most about teaching?
I love when a student is struggling to understand a concept, and suddenly they “get it”! The look in their eye, the excitement on their face, and the joy in their heart is what I love about teaching.

What do you love most about teaching?
I am excited to teach at Immanuel because I’ll get to share the love of God with my students. I have worked in public settings, where things that come so natural to me, praying before lunch, have not been allowed. I a so excited that I will be able to share my faith with my students.
