Dec. 7, 2020
Dear First Grade Parents,
The First Grade Christmas Party is scheduled for Dec. 18th. Since we can’t have adults joining our party this this year, I have planned some games and fun activities for that day. If you would like to donate food or drinks that day, I would appreciate it. I really only need one or two parents bringing treats and one parent bringing drinks. If you would be willing to bring treats and drop them off on Friday the 18th then please let me know so we don’t end up with too many treats.
Our Chapel offerings for this week and next week are canned goods and boxed items that will go to help those in need.
The First Graders will be making Christmas gifts this week. I would like each student to bring in their favorite stuffed animal on Wednesday of this week. If they choose not to, that’s okay. The stuffed animal should not be too big or too small. If it fits in their hand it’s too small, and if it is as big as your child then it is too big.
We are in the busy time before Christmas. May you feel God’s peace as you prepare for Christmas. God bless your week. Have a great week!
Important Dates in December:
Dec. 16- First Grades leads Chapel
Dec. 18- First Grade Christmas Party
Dec. 18- End of Second Quarter
Dec. 19- Christmas break begins
Jan. 8- Report Cards given out
There is no memory this week so we can prepare for our Chapel on the 16. Some students have lines to memorize and some have parts to read. Those students will be bringing those parts home to practice.
