                  Wallschlaeger’s Weekly

                                                                                        October 26, 2020

Dear First Grade Parents,

This week is Parent Teacher Conferences. Remember there is Noon dismissal this Thursday and Friday.  There will be Daycare on those days, and you will be able to order a sack lunch from the lunch program. The hot lunch program is still free.  If you are picking up your child at noon they can order a sack lunch and take it with them. If your child is staying for Daycare they can order a sack lunch or bring their own lunch.

This week the First Grade is having a spell down for the ILS Spelling Bee in November.  Last week your child received a list of the words that they can study from if they are interested in being in the Spelling Bee.     All students will be taking the test and them I will choose 2 students from the class to represent our class in the Spelling Bee.  Because of the spell down and because it is a short week there is no new Spelling words this week.

Since we had to cancel the Trunk or Treat Night, the Board of Ed. gave teachers permission to let the students wear costumes on Friday for fun. If your child does not wear a costume they must be in uniform clothes.

These are the rules that go along with wearing costumes.

1. No scary, or ghoulish costumes.

2. No objects like swords, weapons, wands etc. may be brought to school.

3. No masks except the one that is required
