Dear First Grade Parents, September 21, 2020
This week midterm reports will be sent out in the older grades. Don’t worry if your First Grader does not bring home a midterm report. First graders do not receive midterms. If you have any questions or concerns about your child, please call or send me an email. I will contact you if I have any concerns. Your child will be receiving a report card at the end of this quarter. Until then, keep checking their graded paper to see what we have been doing in class.
In Bible Class we are studying the time when Moses went up on Mount Sinai and received the Ten Commandments from God. For the next 3 weeks, starting next week, we will be memorizing the commandments in Memory. In Science we are finishing up our unit on Insects, and in Social Studies we will be discussing how God made us all unique and special.
Students are starting to forget their homework. I had a number of students this week who didn’t bring in their homework. Please remind your child to put their homework in their back backs right away after finishing their homework. Then they are less likely to leave it home.
I hope you have a great week! Sincerely, Mrs. Wallschlaeger
